Due Diligence System
Grigeo Group AB has a responsible approach to sustainability and implements an effective due diligence system to protect natural resources, prevent deforestation, forest degradation and safeguard community, and Indigenous Peoples interests. By taking a risk-based approach to processes, we aim to ensure transparency and accountability in all parts of the supply chain.
On 29 June 2023, Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 of the European Parliament and of the Council entered into force, imposing strict requirements on certain commodities and commodity products to stop deforestation and forest degradation. The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) applies to commodities such as cocoa, coffee, soya, palm oil, wood, rubber, cattle and their products. In accordance with EUDR, we undertake to carry out a thorough pre-market or pre-export inspection of all relevant products.
