The announced quarantine has united the country for a common goal of helping medical doctors to fight the pandemic. AB Grigeo also joined this honourable goal not only by donating funds for the purchase of protective equipment, but also by supporting medical doctors by making tissue paper products.
AB Grigeo supplied necessary hygiene products to the largest hospitals of the country during the first days of the quarantine. Then the company expanded the network of support recipients and today supplies its products to twenty-nine Lithuanian healthcare institutions.
“We wanted to help the doctors here and now. While the ordered protective equipment was still on its way from abroad, we could immediately supply hospitals with our products that ensure cleanliness”, says Gintautas Pangonis, President of AB Grigeo.
Support with disinfectants and tissue paper products, including tissues, paper towels, cleaning and toilet paper, is continued to be provided to the country’s hospitals today. The employees of AB Grigeo personally communicate with the representatives of the institutions, who indicate the need for sanitisers, according to which they are delivered to hospitals and polyclinics in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, Jonava, Alytus, Utena, Ukmergė, Marijampolė and Lazdijai.
“I would like to convey special thanks to our employees, who efficiently communicated with hospitals, packed, transported and otherwise took care of the delivery of hygiene products to the hottest points, thus ensuring a smooth supply of the support”, says Gintautas Pangonis, President of AB Grigeo.
By now, the value of products donated to Lithuanian hospitals and polyclinics amounts to more than EUR 70,000.
