To reduce its environmental impact and transition to sustainable energy consumption, UAB "Grigeo Tissue" has implemented an environmental project that involved the installation of powerful solar photovoltaic power plants on the company's premises, ensuring a more environmentally friendly production process and reducing CO2 emissions.
About the project
The main objective of the project is to reduce electricity distribution costs by generating electricity close to consumers. The project has installed 3149.16 kW solar photovoltaic power plants, which will achieve up to 3,070,431.00 kWh annual calculated amount of electricity generated and a reduction of at least 1,289.58 tonnes of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. This project is an important step towards a climate-neutral economy and sustainable business development.
